Final Demand

Final demand associated with international trade offers a key perspective on the ultimate destination of value generated throughout global production chains. These indicators make it possible to analyse how value added produced in Spain satisfies the final demand of other countries and, conversely, how Spanish final demand is supplied by value generated abroad. Their analysis helps to understand the economic interdependencies between countries beyond gross trade flows, identifying who ultimately consumes the value created in each economy.
