This implements the 2024-2026 Triennial Action Plan, in accordance with Law 40/2015 of RJSP (Legal Regime of the Public Sector) for the year 2026. The INE undertakes to work towards achieving the objectives of this Action Plan, to periodically assess the degree of compliance with it and to take the appropriate measures to implement its fulfilment.

July 2026. The annual change in the flash estimate of the CPI stands at 3.5% in July, three tenths of a percentage point higher than in June. The annual rate of the flash indicator of underlying inflation rose by one tenth of a percentage point to 3.0%.

June 2026. Provisional data. The annual rate of the IPRIX stood at 3.3% in June, eight tenths of a percentage point lower than in May. The annual variation of the IPRIM was 5.7%, four tenths of a percentage point lower than in the previous month.
Second Quarter 2026. The number of people in employment increased by 486,000 compared with the previous quarter to 22,779,000. In seasonally adjusted terms, the quarterly variation rate was 0.54%. Employment has increased by 510,200 in the last 12 months.
