Plan de Actuación 2026
This implements the 2024-2026 Triennial Action Plan, in accordance with Law 40/2015 of RJSP (Legal Regime of the Public Sector) for the year 2026. The INE undertakes to work towards achieving the objectives of this Action Plan, to periodically assess the degree of compliance with it and to take the appropriate measures to implement its fulfilment.
Annual Programme 2026
The 2026 Annual Programme of the 2025-2028 National Statistical Plan is approved, thus consolidating statistical planning for the coming year. This programme sets out the statistical operations to be conducted during the year and the bodies responsible for their implementation.
Meeting between Producers and Users of Real Estate Statistics
21th and 22th January.
Housing has become one of the great social challenges of our time. This meeting was created with the aim of reflecting on the capacity of available indicators to capture residential real estate market processes, as well as to explore how to improve their quality, comparability, and accessibility.

National Statistics Award
The INE announces the call for the 2025 National Statistics Award. All institutions, organisations and public or private foundations that are particularly related to statistics may nominate candidates. Entries can be made from 6 December 2025 to 5 March 2026 (both inclusive).

Services Sector Activity Indicators (SSAI)
December 2025. Provisional data. The annual variation of the Market Services Sector turnover index was 4.1% in the calendar and seasonally adjusted series. In December, the monthly rate was 0.3% if seasonal and calendar effects are removed.
Industrial Turnover Indices (ITI)
December 2025. Provisional data. The annual rate variation of the Total Industrial Turnover Index stands at -1.6% in the seasonal and calendar adjusted and -2.5% in the original. The monthly variation stands at -0.5%, after seasonal and calendar adjustment.
Statistics on Transfer of Property Rights (STPR)
December 2025 and year 2025. Provisional data. In December, 193,802 properties were registered in the property registries, 10.7% more than in the same month of the previous year. The number of registered property sales and purchases increased by 7.9% compared to December 2024.
Services Trade by Enterprise Characteristics (STEC)
Year 2023. Provisional data. Companies in the Services sector had the greatest weight in exports and imports of services in 2023, with 76.5% and 64.5% of the total, respectively. The companies that carried out the most international trade in services were those with 250 employees or more. They represented 58.5% of total exports and 57.9% of imports attributable to companies.
Enterprise Multi-location Viewer (VIME)
The VIME product has been updated with information relating to 2024.
Mortgage Statistics (M)
December 2025 and year 2025. Provisional data. The number of mortgages constituted on dwellings registered in land registries in December was 37,841, up 17.4% in the annual rate. The average amount of mortgages on dwellings increased by 13.5%, standing at 172,535 euros. The average interest rate on new mortgages on dwellings was 2.87%.
