Effect of the changes

National series from 3rd quarter 1976 up to 4th quarter 2001

For the period which runs from third quarter of 1976 to the fourth of 2001, results are presented that compare with population series, active person (employed, unemployed) and inactive persons calculated with the old and new methodology. In the four quarters of 2001, the old definition is maintained in the calculation to facilitate the homogeneity of the complete 1976-2001 series. This section presents National data.
