Flash estimate of the Consumer Price Index (CPI)

September 2025. The annual change in the flash estimate of the CPI stands at 2.9% in September, two tenths higher than the one registered in August. The annual rate of the flash indicator of underlying inflation decreases one tenth to 2.3%.

Retail Trade Indices (RTI)

August 2025. Provisional data. The annual rate of the General Retail Trade Index at constant prices stood at 4.5% in the seasonal and calendar adjusted series. The monthly variation in retail sales at constant prices was 0.4% after seasonal and calendar adjustment. Employment in retail trade increased by 2.0% in annual rate.

Survey on Centres and Services to Support for Homeless Persons

Year 2024. An average of 33,758 people over the age of 18 were accommodated daily in 2024 in centres to support for homeless persons (55.7% more than in 2022). Centers offering catering services provided an average of 70,343 meals per day (36.9% more than in 2022).

Quarterly National Spanish Accounts

Second Quarter 2025. In terms of volume, the GDP registered a variation of 0.8% in the second quarter compared to the previous quarter. This rate was two tenths higher than that of the first quarter of 2025. Year-on-year GDP variation was 3.1%, compared to 3.2% in the previous quarter. Domestic demand contributed 3.5 points, while external demand contributed -0.5 points.

Statistics of Affiliates of Spanish Companies Abroad (FILEXT)

Year 2023. Affiliates of Spanish companies abroad generated a turnover of 280,972 million euros and employed 947,513 persons in 2023. Brazil, the United Kingdom and Germany were the countries where Spanish affiliates generated the highest turnover.
