Women and Men in Spain
2025 Edition. The chapter on Employment, in the Women and Men in Spain publication, has been updated
Índice de Precios de Vivienda en Alquiler (IPVA). Base 2015
Year 2023. Rental housing prices rose by 2.6% in 2023. Prices of new contracts rose by 4.1%, while prices of existing contracts rose by 2.4%.
Passenger Transport Statistics (PT)
March 2025. Provisional data. The number of passengers using public transport increased by 8.4% in March, as compared with the same month of 2024. The annual rate for city transport increased by 10.0% and for inter-city transport by 5.4%.
Mercantile Companies Statistics (MC)
March 2025. Provisional data. The number of mercantile companies decreased by 0.8% in March compared to the same month in 2024. The number of dissolved companies increased by 8.5% year-on-year.
Industrial Production Index (IPI)
March 2025. Provisional data. The annual rate of the Industrial Production Index stood at 1.0% in the seasonally and calendar adjusted series and 8.5 in the original series. The monthly change in the Industrial Production Index was 0.9% if seasonal and calendar effects are eliminated.
Continuous Population Statistics (CPS)
1st April 2025. Provisional data. The population of Spain increased by 75,865 during the first quarter of 2025, standing at 49,153,849 inhabitants on 1 April 2025. The main immigrant nationalities were Colombian, Moroccan and Venezuelan.
