Plan de Actuación 2026
This implements the 2024-2026 Triennial Action Plan, in accordance with Law 40/2015 of RJSP (Legal Regime of the Public Sector) for the year 2026. The INE undertakes to work towards achieving the objectives of this Action Plan, to periodically assess the degree of compliance with it and to take the appropriate measures to implement its fulfilment.
Annual Programme 2026
The 2026 Annual Programme of the 2025-2028 National Statistical Plan is approved, thus consolidating statistical planning for the coming year. This programme sets out the statistical operations to be conducted during the year and the bodies responsible for their implementation.

Indicators of the Information and Communication Technology Sector (ICT)
Year 2024. The turnover of companies in the ICT sector reached 143,288.2 million euros in 2024, a 4.8% increase compared to the previous year. Internal R&D spending by companies in the ICT sector grew by 9.4%, standing at 2,483.9 million euros.
High Technology Indicators
Year 2024. The turnover of high and medium-high technology companies increased by 5.5% in 2024, up to 373,643.7 million euros. Exports of high-tech products increased by 11.6% and imports by 5.9%.
Consumer Price Index (CPI)
June 2026. The annual variation rate of the June CPI stood at 3.2%, the same as in May. The annual rate of core inflation increased by one tenth to 2.9%. The monthly variation of the general rate was 0.6%.
Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP)
June 2026. The annual rate of the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) stood at 3.6%, the same as the previous month.
Reference Index of Housing Rentals
June 2026. The annual rate of the IRAV corresponding to the month of June is 2.44%.
Statistics on the Convicted Population: Adults / Minors
Year 2025. The adult population convicted with a final sentence recorded for all types of offences committed in 2025 or previous years fell by 0.2% in 2025. The number of minors convicted decreased by 1.8%. The most frequent adult offences were related to road safety (22.4% of the total), injuries (17.3%), and theft (16.4%).
