Tourist Movements at Borders (FRONTUR)
August 2025. Provisional data. Spain received 11.3 million international tourists in August, 2.9% more than in the same month of 2024. In the first eight months of 2025, the number of international tourists arriving in Spain reached its highest level, approaching 66.8 million.
Total Expenditure Survey
August 2025. Provisional data. The total expenditure of international tourists visiting Spain in August increased by 6.7% and reached 16,390 million euros. The average daily expenditure increased by 4.9% to 198 euros.
Non-hotel Tourist Accommodation Occupancy Survey
August 2025. Provisional data. Overnight stays in non-hotel tourist accommodation increased by 0.6% in August compared to the same month in 2024. Overnight stays in apartments increased by 1.5% and those in campsites by 0.6% compared to the same month in 2024. In contrast, those in rural tourism decreased by 1.9% and those in hostels by 3.1%.
Spanish Regional Accounts
Regional Gross Domestic Product. 2022-2024 Series. Región de Murcia was the autonomous community with the highest GDP growth in volume terms in 2024 (4.5%). It was followed by Canarias (4.4%) and Illes Balears (4.2%). The regions with the lowest GDP variation rates in terms of volume were the Autonomous Cities of Ceuta (1.0%) and Melilla (1.2%) and Cantabria (2.3%).

1995-2024. The INE presents today the estimates of the annual aggregates by industry of the national economy corresponding to the perior 1995-2024 of the Annual Spanish National Accounts.
